Living birds deserve a living standard of care — from the hatch box to your door.
Day-old chicks travel via USPS Express, packed within 24 hours of hatching with a heat source and secure bedding. Because chicks keep each other warm in transit, a 3-chick minimum applies. Most arrive within 1–2 days.
Hatching eggs ship carefully cushioned and clearly marked; hatch rates depend on handling in transit and your incubation, so eggs are sold without a hatch guarantee.
Started pullets & mature birds are arranged individually — by specialised live-animal shipping or [local pickup / regional delivery].
We ship live poultry to the 48 contiguous states under [NPIP certification — pending]. Live-poultry shipping is regulated, and some states or municipalities restrict imports or require permits. [Eligible-state checker / restrictions list]. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are [case by case].

Health is the standard the whole house is built on. Our flock is raised [NPIP / Pullorum-clean — pending], with [avian-influenza testing] and [vaccination protocol] applied across every line.
Where birds are offered as sexed (pullets), accuracy is approximately [90%+], the industry standard for vent/feather sexing. Straight-run orders are an unsexed mix. [Replacement policy for mis-sexed birds].
Once your order and total are confirmed, payment is made simply by Venmo. You’ll receive a request from us, or you can pay directly here: Pay via Venmo →. We prepare your order the moment payment is received.
Damage in transit. In the rare event your order arrives damaged, we’ll work with you toward a refund. We require photos and video of both the packaging and the eggs, taken the day your order arrives, sent to support@apexaviary.com that same day.
Hatching & development. We do not refund eggs that fail to hatch or develop — once eggs leave our care, incubation and hatching depend on handling and equipment beyond our control.
